prof. Ing. Dr. Martin Vrňata

Professor - Head of the team

Martin Vrňata was born in 1970 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He got his PhD at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague in 1996 and in 2017 he gained full Professorship at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. Currently he is a head of Sensor group at the Department of Physics and Measurements at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. His research interests are focused on the electro-physical properties of sensing layers based on organic and inorganic materials. He is an expert in field of impedance analysis and thin film deposition techniques.

Ing. Přemysl Fitl, Ph.D.

p_Fitl Přemysl Fitl was born in 1980 in Vrchlabí, Czechoslovakia. He got his PhD at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague in 2011. Currently he is a head of Laboratory of measurement and control at the Department of Physics and Measurements at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. His research activities are focused on preparation and characterization of electrotransport properties of thin films used for chemical sensors.

Jaroslav Otta got his Master’s degree at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague in 2018. At the moment he is a PhD student and member of Sensor group at the Department of Physics and Measurements at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. His research activities are focused on preparation and characterization of thin nanocomposite films used for chemical sensors, Continous wave Laser-induced forward transfer (CW-LIFT). He is a member of Academic senate of the Faculty of chemical engeneering.

Jan Kejzlar was born in Trutnov in 1996. He got his master’s degree in 2020 at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. At the moment he is a PhD student at the Sensor Group of the Department of Physics and Measurements at the Institute of Chemistry and technology, Prague. His current research is focused on preparation of the black metal layers using thermal evaporation and magnetron sputtering.
